Teenage Brewing Tape Echo Coffee Sour DIPA

A collaborative beer with “ONIW COFFEE,” roasted by Mr. Takaaki Mino, guitarist of Japan's leading post-rock band “toe,” has been completed. Using Teenage's signature sour IPA as a base, coffee beans and blood oranges were steeped in it. The berry and citrus notes from the coffee beans resonate vividly with the acidity of the blood orange. The coffee beans used are from Ethiopia, the birthplace of Arabica. Specifically, we lavishly used a medium-light roast of G1 Natural beans from the world-renowned “Yirgacheffe” region. Mr. Mino himself performed the roasting, adjusting it slightly lighter than usual to pair well with beer. This Coffee Sour DIPA offers the characteristic ripe fruit aroma of natural processing, along with a pleasant spread of sweetness accompanied by richness. Hops used: Alora, Citra, Lemondrop Cryo.
