Kameizumi Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu CEL-24 Sake 龜泉 CEL-24 純米吟釀 生原酒 720ml


For many of you, this sake needs no introduction. As soon as I get a fresh batch I mostly fill up orders of people that have been waiting for it for 6 months. The good news is I have a few cases left to share with you all, but the bad news is only about half of what was imported last year. Will make it here this year. The yeast is a relatively new collection which is very high in Ethyl Caproate production making the nose enormous. We get candied pineapple, vanilla ice cream and Honeycrisp apple. It's clearly on the sweeter side but has 1.7% acidity to balance. For reference the national average for acidity is 1.3%. A blockbuster of a Sake you can't miss if you're a Ginjo fan.
