Death by Chocolate--Birthday Cake Stout
After we first brewed Death by Chocolate, our massive Pastry Stout that uses husks and nibs from our friends at Conspiracy Chocolate, we soon started imagining using that as the base for some other fun chocolate-based pastry stouts. When some friends suggested the same, we started dreaming up some new possibilities. For the 3rd Birthday of our taproom in Central, we decided to create a birthday addition, marrying that chocolate richness with both vanilla and cake for a super creamy birthday cake flavour.
NOSE: Big milk chocolate Nose, Vanilla Birthday Cake, Creamy Frosting, Slight Roast
APPEARANCE: Dark Brown, opaque with a Tan head
TASTE: Rounded vanilla, smooth rich chocolate, celebratory cake batter.
