This wine is produced primarily from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected from the company’s own vineyards. The fermentation process includes maceration in stainless steel tanks, conducted at a controlled temperature of 25°C for 11 days. After undergoing malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel for 6 months, followed by a 30-day bottle rest before release.
In the glass, it reveals a ruby red color with purple highlights, clear and good consistency. The bouquet is rich and generous, showcasing fruity notes of cherry and strawberry, complemented by floral hints of rose and violet. On the palate, the wine is soft, warm, and intense, offering a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
It pairs beautifully with savory first courses like pappardelle with meat sauce and is also an excellent match for roast chicken, red meats with vegetables, and aged cheeses.
