A high quality non chill filtered Irish single malt whiskey from the Kinahan’s company. This dram is produced in small batches, with only around 30 first fill former Bourbon barrels making the cut. Kinahan’s, a brand first created back in 1779, found favour with the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, leading to it being labelled with the initials “L.L.” – and this bottling pays homage to the company’s extraordinary history.
Nose: Zesty blood orange, toasted caramel, hazelnut, cigar, tobacco, cocoa.
Palate: Chocolate, coffee, green pear, ripe peach, eucalyptus, madeira nutty extract.
Finish: Bitter chocolate, finishing gently with a lingering sweet blood orange twist.
Colour: Shiny gold.
ABV: 46%
