Carbon Brews Brian and the Chocolate Factory Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

Well matched blend of rye whiskey and bourbon barrels gives a good level of the barrel and oak characters. Pours midnight black and viscously thick. Huge blast of chocolate, amburana like wood and orange zest at the start, a little deeper aroma offers a nice bouquet of dark fruits (dates and figs) . The proper amount or booze for an 11 ABV heavyweight beer but in a very pleasant and gentle way. Elevated body and complex grainbill are ideally suited for the pastry like imperial stout which...(I don't know how to say, its merging you with a chocolate factory)
