Are you a bit of a zealot when it comes to your craft beer? Do you talk too long about NZ v US hops? Do you discuss hop farms like they’re your friends? Or do you know someone who does? Let’s be honest--you didn't pick up an 8% Double IPA looking for “subtlety.” You’re here because you have an unhinged, quasi-religious devotion to haze. Don't worry, we don't judge, we celebrate.

To brew this, we converted to the gospel of two of the most aromatic and punchy hops on the planet: Nelson Sauvin and Strata. We didn't just hop this beer; we indoctrinated it. We played Gregorian Hymns to the whirlpool and chanted in circles around the Hop Gun. This is a thick, opaque, dank juice-bomb of near-biblical proportions. It’s for the true believers who demand maximum flavour and zero compromise. And if that’s not you yet... hey, give it a try and it just might convert you.

Nose: Complex and Beautifully Pungent. Classic Nelson Sauvin notes of intense gooseberry, diesel and gooseberry, layered with the dank cannabis and tropical notes of Strata.

Taste: Dank Pine and Tropical fruit mingle on the palate, with white wine tanginess from the Nelson, pink grapefruit, a touch of peppery herbal notes and a lingering resinous dank note to leave you craving another sip.

Mouthfeel: Medium-full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel from the balanced grain bill that belies the 8% ABV. Finishes pleasantly dry, clean and intensely drinkable.
