Linkwood is a delightful malt that seems to have found it's calling as an excellent ingredient for some popular blends, making single malt bottlings often hard to find. As they so often do, Thompson Bros. have stepped up to the plate with this treasure of a dram that we are keen to try!
On the nose shows aromas of pine, vanilla custard and lemon meringue pie. On the nose, complemented by notes of ginger biscuit, runny honey and candied citrus.This single malt Linkwood, distilled 2010 and matured for 13 years. Bottled by Scotch whisky bottlers, Thompson Bros from a refill hogshead with 331 bottles filled at 54.6% vol.
