Louis Latour Mâcon-Lugny Les Genièvres 2021, Burgunday, France

The village of Lugny is located high up in the southern part of the Mâcon region. It has a great reputation for its white wines, which have made Mâcon famous. It is well known that the village of Lugny, with its limestone soils and warm climate, produces the most coveted white wines in the region. The vineyards of "Les Genièvres" are among the best. Maison Louis Latour selects the best grapes of this village, which was the only one to grow Chardonnay 30 years ago due to its terroir.

 

The 2021 Mâcon-Lugny "Les Genièvres" has a pale yellow color. The nose offers aromas of flowers, vanilla and fresh almonds. On the palate, this wine has citrus notes. The finish is persistent and very fresh on the palate.
