This Pinot Meunier comes from one of the oldest continuously farmed areas in the Russian River Valley AVA. The Dommen Family Vineyard has been in continuous production for over 100 years. We began working with the Dommen Family in 2018 when we made our first vintage of BRUT NAT, Sparkling Wine from a solera of the 2018 and 2019 vintages. In 2021 we made our first red Pinot Meunier and this nervy, juicy red wine is perfect for all things summer.

With its inky color and opulent, luscious texture, this wine stands out among the Donkey & Goat portfolio. For lovers of “bigger” reds this Pinot Meunier will delight with heaps of fresh, perfectly ripe fruit. Exploding from the glass in a cascade of raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, boysenberries and huckleberries, it encapsulates summer heat and dust, restless roaming afternoons, and sun-drenched berries devoured straight from the bush while juice drips down a chin.
