Crème de Cassis is more French than fries. Invented in the 1800's by the fluttering fairies of Burgundy's chateaux, where the drink became immensely popular with the local aristocracy. The deep red drink is made bye juicing natural blackcurrants and blending them with alcohol. Drink Crème de Cassis together with sparking champagne in a Kir Royal cocktail.
