Volver Alicante Bouschet by Tarima 2018 is a blend of old-vines Monastrell and Alicante Bouschet (Garnacha Tintorera) aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

The wine is deep purple with some ruby tinges.

Unsurprisingly, this blend of Monastrell and Alicante Bouschet is almost intoxicating on the nose. Blueberries, raspberries and cherries, with deep mineral notes, hints of cinnamon and clove, and aromas of blue flowers, dry earth and tree bark. On the palate it's powerful, deep and very structured, this wine of Bodegas Volver from Jorge Ordóñez has slightly rugged tannins, a phenomenal acidity and loads of red and black fruit with a herbal twist. Finish is long and complex, with a smokey, spicy and earthy aftertaste.
