In 2016, the Goichot family took the reins of this lovely estate, previously owned by the Perret du Cray family since 1798. The Château du Cray is a 22 hectars wine estate located in north of Buxy, in Saone-et-Loire. The vines stretch around the Château, in the middle of the hillside and benefit from a privileged East to South East exposure. The estate benefit from MONOPOLE: Le Cornevent.
This racy and seductive wine, "dressed" in beautiful golden tinged with green colour, offers a nuanced bouquet of hazelnuts and ferns, a very dry taste with mineral notes with very good length.
The terroir often gives it spicy flavours. Age makes it a bit more golden and spicier. On the palate, its aromas keep their freshness for a long time, making this an exceptional wine to savour.
